Control invasive growth
Targeting honey locust, bindweed, and woody encroachment while preserving valuable cover.
The Ranch
Since 2021, Nicholl Ranch has been a place for family, wildlife, and the work of caring for both.
Our goal is simple: improve the property a little every year. That means restoring native habitat, managing wildlife, caring for the water, and giving our kids a place to grow up connected to the outdoors.
Growth, not shortcuts.
18 Months of Progress
Over the past 18 months, we have focused on removing undesirable and invasive vegetation, opening areas for better native growth, establishing diverse forage and pollinator plantings, and improving habitat across the ranch.
Targeting honey locust, bindweed, and woody encroachment while preserving valuable cover.
Planting native flowers, forage, and pollinator-friendly areas that benefit the entire ecosystem.
Managing ponds, field edges, and transition zones where wildlife finds food, water, and shelter.
Wildlife & Habitat
The results show up in more than vegetation. Turtles, nesting birds, pollinators, and other wildlife are finding room to thrive.

Water & Habitat
Pond care and shoreline management support aquatic life, provide reliable water for wildlife, and make the ranch more resilient through every season.
